They say it their way....

Resilience has been shown to be more than just the capacity of individuals to cope well under adversity.[citation needed] Resilience is better understood as the opportunity and capacity of individuals to navigate their way to psychological, social, cultural and physical resources that may sustain their well-being, and their opportunity and capacity individually and collectively to negotiate for these resources to be provided and experienced in culturally meaningful ways.[34]

I say it mine.

Your prescription will be ready in about 7 minutes...

It was the kind of day that only eating could fix
A greasy day...cheesy day....a spicy day.
A day I had to visit the Food Pharmacy

"Carb craving is part of daily life," says Judith Wurtman, PhD, a former scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and co-author of The Serotonin Power Diet. She and her husband, MIT professor Richard J. Wurtman, have long researched carbohydrates and their link to mood and depression.

The Wurtmans published a landmark article about carbs and depression in Scientific American in 1989. They are convinced that the carbohydrate craving is related to decreases in the feel-good hormone serotonin, which is marked by a decline in mood and concentration.

And the prescription refill can be ready in about 7 minutes.

You can lead them to fun...but you can't make them happy

I'm up at 3:00ish, after feeding the furball and I stumble across a comment VerDell made in response to something about Making Childhood Magical, I didn't read the article, but her comment knocked me out. If you know me, then you know, anything you say...or in this case write...is up for grabs in my book. So, thanks Nancy Daniel Vest for the sweet inspiration...you have always been the best teacher, in the classroom and out!
